Caring for Your Hank Knit - Knit Love That Lasts Generations

One of the things I’m most proud of at Hank is creating heirloom-quality knits that are made to be treasured and passed down. To keep them looking and feeling their best, a little care goes a long way.

I always recommend gentle hand washing or a delicate cycle with cold water, using a mild detergent. Avoid wringing your knit; instead, gently press out excess water and lay it flat to dry. Taking these small steps ensures your piece keeps its shape, softness, and warmth for years to come.

Every Hank knit carries hours of craftsmanship, care, and love, from my hands to those of our incredible artisans in Peru. Caring for it properly is part of that story. It’s not just about preserving a garment; it’s about respecting the skill, time, and heart woven into every stitch.

When you follow these simple care steps, you’re ensuring that your Hank piece can be worn, loved, and passed down—becoming a treasured part of your family’s story. That’s the magic of slow, sustainable, and thoughtful fashion.
